Cornerstone ladies to have Missions Brunch

The ladies of Cornerstone Bible Church will have a Missions Brunch Saturday, Oct. 14, at 11:30 a.m. at the home of Laurie Whittington. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. Fairburn's Faith Baptist plans yard sale

Faith Baptist Church at 6950 Rivertown Rd. in Fairburn will have a yard sale Saturday, Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. A large variety of items will be available for sale. Proceeds benefit the church's mission work. The sale will be held rain or shine.

Women's Bible study starts tonight at McDonough Rd.

Two new Bible studies for women will begin Wednesday, Oct. 4, at McDonough Road Baptist Church. One is titled "Finding Joy," and the other is "Growing in Prayer." Both will meet at 6:30 p.m. and will continue for six weeks. The cost is $5 for a workbook. Sign up at the church or call 770-460-5423.

Booth space reservations open for St. Gabriel's bazaar

Donate blood at Fayetteville UMC on Oct. 15

Providence to offer preschool parenting class

STEP, Systematic Training for Effective Parenting, a workshop for parents of preschool to elementary age children, will be taught by Jason Snow, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 18 at Providence United Methodist Church. National Heights Baptist Primetimers to meet Oct. 12

Primetimers, a senior adult group for those age 50 and older at National Heights Baptist Church, will have a luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at the church. Abundant Life Church offers Friday night 'fire' services

Abundant Life Worship Center invites the communiuty to attend its "Friday Night Fire Service" each Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Services feature praise and worship, preaching and prayer. The worship center is located at 1960 Ga. Hwy. 74 South in Tyrone.
