I want to commend Pat Newman's piece on "A historic vote: National Heights to call female pastor."

The article was objective and provided us with a fresh viewpoint on what different churches are having in our county. This is an unusual move for a Baptist church in our area and state.

I have many unique ancestors living in Fayette County. Good people are doing small things each and every day which go unnoticed. Keep up the good work and continue to inform us about what is happening in Fayette.
