Big racing action at Senoia Speedway this Saturday

The Southern All Stars Racing Series will return this Saturday night to the 3/8th-mile Senoia Speedway for the running of the Hence Pollard Memorial 125 with a $3,000 prize to be awarded to the winner of the Super Late Model Feature.

The race is being dedicated in memory of track founder Hence Pollard. Pollard's memory continues to live on through son, Sonny and grandson, Bubba who drive in the Late Model and Legends series on a regular basis at Senoia Speedway.

Johnny Henderson of Conyers, Georgia picked up his second career win at Senoia in the first visit by the series after taking the lead from Ricky Turner in the closing laps. Turner received the lead on lap 109 from Tyrone's Scott Griffin who led from the start until the upper link on his car broke during the last restart on lap 107.

Pit gates open at 2 p.m. practice at 3:30 p.m. qualifying at 5:30 p.m. and race time set for 7:30 p.m. Senoia Speedway is located west of Senoia, Georgia on Highway 16. For more information call 770-599-6161 or visit them on the web at www.senoiaspeedway.com
