Auditions for sketch
comedy troop to be held on Thursday

Are you the next “Superstar” or “Hans and Frans?”
Does sketch comedy and improvisation appeal to you? Are you funny?
If so, come out to the Lafayette Educational Center (the Old Fayette County
High School) Thursday, Aug. 24 from 7-9 p.m. for a meeting about the formation
of a sketch comedy troop.
Last year, Creatures of Habit performed several shows in Fayette County
and got an excellent response from the community. A few cast members remain
but this is a new year and a new project with all new material.
The group will present a comedy show in December and may tour it around
the region in 2001. There will be one rehearsal a week for the first few
months and then two a week as the show approaches.
If you want to take the stage and knock people’s socks off with wildly
creative, original material, come to the meeting with a positive attitude
and an arsenal of funny faces, voices and noises.
