'A-boyz' will present gospel concert at River's Edge Church

River's Edge Community Church will hear the sounds of contemporary, urban gospel music as the “A-boyz” lead in worship and present a brief concert as part of the morning service, Sunday, Aug. 27 at 10:30 a.m.

“With the urbanization of the south metro area and the growing integration of cultures, we wanted to make it clear that we're here for everybody, not just those who have historical roots in Fayette/Clayton counties,” said Dr. John Hatcher, senior pastor at River's Edge. “There is a significant demographic shift taking place in our communities and our church wants to communicate our openness to the changes,” he added.

“`The A-boyz,' is a six-member group of brothers who have mixed the sound of contemporary inspirational pop music with a rhythm and blues, soulful influence,” Hatcher continued. “They deliver their Gospel message with incredible vocal chemistry and intensity.”

The group has appeared on national television and has been on stage with Gospel great, Shirley Caesar.

The community is invited to attend the service. For more information, call River's Edge at 770-719-0303.
