Robert McCollum has retired from the Peachtree National Bank’s Board of Directors. He served on the bank’s board for five years and on Peach State Bank’s board for five years prior to the merger with Peachtree National bank in 1995.

“Bob’s business experience and his knowledge of the market will certainly be missed,” said Peachtree National Bank President Ron Duffey.

John Sitler of Peachtree City has won a $1,000 Chick-fil-A Leadership Scholarship.

Sitler is the 29th employee from the Peachtree City restaurant to receive a scholarship.

Debra Wild has joined Wachovia Mortgage Company as a mortgage sales officer in Fayetteville. In her new positions, she will assist realt ors and builders.
Wild has more than 11 years of banking experience.

Harold Davis of Christian City lived a life-long dream this week by attending an Atlanta Braves baseball game.

Second Wind Dreams, a national non-profit group based in Alpharetta, made the dream come true and shuttled Davis to the game in a limousine. He also dined “baseball style” and received an autographed baseball from Wally Joyner.

Gordon Kitchens and Wendell Peters of Atlanta Gas Light were the guest speakers at the July meeting of the South Metro Conditioned Air Association of Georgia. Hallene Minter was named Woman of the Year by the McIntosh Chapter of the American Business Woman’s Association.

Minter is an agent for Allstate Insurance Company in Fayetteville.
