William Moore was the Most Valuable Player for the Fayette Coutny High School boys basketball team in his junior and senior year.

He is now hoping to make a contribution to the basketball team at Atlanta Metro College.

Moore, a point guard, who started on the varsity squad from his sophomore season on, recently signed with Atlanta Metro College because of its ranking as one of the Top 15 junior college basketball programs in the country and its close proximity to home.

“They are one of the premier junior college basketball programs and that means they'll get a lot of good looks from division one colleges,” said Moore. Moore hopes to transfer to a Division 1 school after his two-year stint at Atlanta Metro.

He is undecided on a major as of yet, but looks forward to starting school in a few weeks. He credits his basketball career at Fayette County High School for making him a better player. The highlight of his career was making it to the state playoffs with the team this year.

Moore is a good player who continues to get better and wants the most for and from his team. Atlanta Metro College will benefit from his presence as much as he will benefit from being there.
