Patrick Malloy Communities joins Avery Park team

Pathway Communities, developer of Avery Park in historic Newnan, is pleased to announce the addition of Patrick Malloy Communities (PMC) to Avery Park's builder group. PMC will build turn-of-the-century style homes priced from the $140s.

Wray Russell, Pathway Communities chief operating officer, says, “PMC will create homes in Avery Park that reflects the charm of historic Newnan while incorporating the best in modern designs, at a price range approachable to many homebuyers. In fact, the information center reports a waiting list exceeding 200 for this price range.”

For Patrick Malloy, president of PMC, making the decision to join the Avery Park builder group was easy. “Avery Park is unlike any master-planned community in the Atlanta area,” says Malloy. “Pathway has created a community which links to Newnan's history and architecture, while at the same time includes more than 40% green space and open areas and provides a vast selection of amenities for residents.”

PMC is the evolution of a home building business that was started by Patrick's grandfather in 1946. Since then, Carrollton-based PMC has built more than 5,500 homes in the metropolitan Atlanta and west Georgia areas. The company now focuses primarily on building in master-planned communities.

The mantra of PMC is its “Zero-Defect” program, which is a promise to provide homes that are complete at the time of the homeowner's final walk-through. PMC is proud of the fact that more than 96 percent of walk-throughs are truly “Zero Defect,” and this is one of the reasons for PMC's high referral rate among existing customers.

Avery Park is a 500-home, Village Square community reminiscent of Newnan's neighborhoods of the early 1900s. The community will feature a unique commercial entry reminiscent of turn-of-the-century Newnan, walking trails and paths, a competition size swimming pool, tennis courts and community parks. In addition, Avery Park will have a combination of ultra-fast Internet connection potential, upgraded wiring in every home and an interactive community Intranet. Homes are priced from the mid $100s to $300s.

The Avery Park Information Center, located on Highway 29, just off the intersection of Highway 29 and the Newnan Bypass, is open daily 11-6 and Sunday 1-6. For more information, visit the Avery Park Web site at www.averypark.com, or call 770-252-9100.

In addition to Avery Park, Pathway Communities is also developing SummerGrove in Newnan, Peachtree City in Fayette County and Monarch Village in Henry County.
