holds fundraiser, awards motorcycle Buford
Chandler was declared winner of the Home Builders
Association of Midwest Georgia's fund-raising
drawing for a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The gathering which
featured the drawing for the motorcycle was held
at the Griffin Kiwanis Fairground. A reverse
drawing was held to determine the winner of the
Harley Davidson Fat Boy.
A country band,
Double Barrel, performed at the
event.
Also at the
meeting, a special presentation was made by Jeff
Betsill, association president, to show the
organization's appreciation for the work done
since fall of 1997 by Robin Keesal, who has
served during since that time as the
association's executive officer.
Ms. Keesal has been
named field representative for Region D of the
National Association of Home Builders. The states
in Region D include Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri,
Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Nebraska.
The Home Builders
Association of Midwest Georgia, which serves
builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Heard and
Meriwether Counties, currently has around 410
