• David Werner competed in the 29th Florida Junior Invitational Golf Championship held at The Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. on July 18, 19 and 20.

Werner, a 16 year old student at McIntosh high School, shot a 54 hole total score of 241.

The tournament field included some of the best junior players in the nation. Players came from as far away as Hawaii to compete in what is one of the oldest junior invitational tournaments in the country.
