show returns to Atlanta Mark your calendar for the International Doll Gallery's second annual show and sale entitled I'shengahla: A World of Change, scheduled for July 28 - Aug. 6. The event will be hosted by Tonia Floyd, doll artist and founder of the International Doll Gallery. It will be at the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel - Downtown. Admission is $5. The web site has all the details for vendors wanting a booth, persons wanting to take classes and those who wish to attend the show itself. You can use your credit card to register for classes online. This year's show and sale will bring artists from across the nation and feature one-of-a-kind, hand-made dolls, miniatures and contemporary quilts that celebrate the human spirit in A World of Change. This eclectic and multi-racial group offers dolls made of cloth, porcelain and other mediums along with teddy bears, doll furniture and unusual fabric, lace, trim and other decorative accessories. There will also be an array of classes for beginners and advanced artisans. Instructors include some of the best in doll artists like Hedy Katin, Anne Mayer Meier, Nancy Laverick, Linda Ballentine, Marquetta Bell Johnson and others.
