to host World's Largest Baby Shower DixieLand Fun Park in Fayetteville will be one of three Atlanta area businesses to serve as drop-off locations for The World's Largest Baby Shower Saturday, July 29. Sponsored by Atlanta's Christian radio station J93.3 FM and DixieLand Fun Park, The World's Largest Baby Shower will assist the Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center by collecting various baby items, which are desperately needed by the center. July 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., DixieLand Fun Park will be the place for all participants to donate new or nearly new baby items. Needed items include diapers (newborn to size four), baby socks, receiving blankets, washcloths, baby lotion, shampoo, baby bath, baby oil, bedding sets, nail clippers, baby clothes (up to size two), take home outfits, baby books, baby rattles, hooded towels, crib sheets, bottles, new pacifiers, baby wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby clothes hangers, baby spoons and bowls, and baby toys. Other needed items include various sizes of maternity clothing, new undergarments, nursing gowns, plastic clothing hangers, bassinets, car seats, baby carriers and high chairs. J93.3 FM will be broadcasting live from DixieLand Fun Park during the event, and participants will have the opportunity to meet radio personalities and to win prizes. We're looking forward to this event, said park manager David Glover. This is a great opportunity to help those in need, and that's exciting. According to J93.3 FM promotions director Darlene Evans, The World's Largest Baby Shower also is being hosted at locations in Douglas and Cobb counties, which will benefit similar charities in their areas.
