History committee plans a day for sharing

The History Committee at McDonough Rd. Baptist Church has set aside Saturday, July 29, as a day for members to share and reminisce with their pictures and mementos. Members will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 2 p.m.

Old Fashioned Camp meeting planned at Nat'l Hgts.

National Heights Baptist Church will have an old fashioned camp meeting service Sunday morning, July 30, at 10:55 a.m. The service will be followed by a churchwide luncheon. FFBC youth plan overnight rafting trip July 31, Aug. 1

Youth of Fayetteville First Baptist Church are invited to attend an overnight whitewater rafting trip on the Nantahalia River. The group will leave the church on Monday, July 31 at 8 a.m. and return Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. Cost is $60 per person. RECC men to hold midnight prayer vigil

Men of River's Edge Community church are invited to attend the dinner and prayer vigil scheduled for Friday, Aug. 4, beginning at 7 p.m. There will be a special guest speaker for the dinner, followed by special prayer until midnight. Call River's Edge at 770-719-0303 for more information.

Braves game on tap for RECC members

Members of River's Edge Community church are invited to attend the baseball game between the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers Saturday, Aug. 12 at Turner Field. Holy Land trip scheduled

Members of Peachtree City United Methodist Church are planning a trip to the Holy Land Feb. 4-14, 2001. Cost is approximately $2,200 from Atlanta, and includes air fare, hotels, meals and tours. No. Fayette UMC announces plans for Parents Day Out

North Fayette United Methodist Church is now accepting application for the Parent's day Out program for the 2000-2001 school year. The program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and is for children ages three months to four years. For more information, call 770-461-2409.
