Ladies of the United Methodist Women at Bethany United Methodist Church have several events planned for the month of August.

On Tuesday, Aug. 1, the Circle of Love will make its annual trip to the Salem Camp meeting. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at the church at 9 a.m. The group will have lunch at the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle.

On Wednesday, Aug. 2, the Day Circle will meet at the church at 11 a.m. Transportation will be provided for those who need it. Call the church to arrange transportation.

On Thursday, Aug. 3, the Evening Circle will meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. for a light dinner of sandwiches. Plans are to clean up the stock room and kitchen.

On Saturday, Aug. 19, all ladies at Bethany are invited to the IHOP in Fayetteville for a breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

On August 31, ladies of the church are invited to have lunch at the Jasmine Tea room with the new pastor's wife, Lynn Outlaw. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at the church at 11:30 a.m.
