The District 4 Little League recently announced the roster for its Big League All Star Team.

Big League is a division of the Little League program for 16-, 17- and 18-year-olds. Coweta and Fayette counties sponsored two teams this past spring and played Sunday double headers around the metro Atlanta area.

Representing the district will be Matt Boone of Brooks; Pedro Carreras and Terry Mycoskie of Peachtree City; Chuck Cofer, Casey Hall, David McCorvey and Josh Purinton of Fayetteville; Edgar Creswell of Newnan; Ronnie Hutchins of Moreland, and Bobby Turner of Sharpsburg. The team will be coached by Jesse McCorvey, Pedro Carreras and John Creswell.

The team is currently playing in the state tournament games at Ward Park in Smyrna. It is competing against teams from the Macon area, Dekalb County, Franklin County and Douglas County. The winner of the tournament will represent Georgia at the division tournament beginning July 29 in Eagleton, Tenn.
