Kick
out Southern Baptists as well Surely the Southern Baptists are not concerned about the degradation of women. They use God's word to subjugate women to second-class citizenry. They will not allow women pastors, espouse that women should be subservient and obedient to their husbands, etc. At least Hooters is a choice by women to work there. If we are to prevent Hooters because they denigrate women, then I suppose we should kick the Southern Baptists out of Fayette County for the same reasons. Besides, what ever happened to our constitutional right to determine our own life? Is this not a freedom issue? If they don't want Hooters, then don't patronize it. But don't try to tell me that I can't patronize it just because it offends someone else's particular religious belief. Jim Stinson j.stinson@mindspring.com
