Once
again, what's Alternative School for? In response to Meg Harris' letter of July 12, I offer this: It's good that things aren't always what they seem! I did not condemn those students for making a mistake nor did I state that they should be condemned or that the Board of Education had no right to put them there. My primary questions still stand: Why was the Alternative School the choice place for discipline and continuing education in this case? What is the purpose of the Fayette County Alternative School? Again, as I stated on July 5, my hope for these students is in John 3:16-17. Thanks for prompting me to clarify, Ms. Harris. Danielle A. Mathis Fayetteville
