Gasoline gouging going on in PTC?

I just thought I should alert the residents of the area to know that the local dealers are gouging them on gas prices.

I have traveled up and down Interstate 75 for the last 25 years and the one thing you could count on was that Georgia's gas prices were the lowest around. My normal destination is usually Cincinnati Ohio, where gas prices were always expected to be 15 to 20 cents more expensive than Georgia's.

Well, guess what? The prices I have seen here are cheaper than the $1.51 per gallon I paid in Peachtree City [last week]. I have seen gas in Cincinnati for as low as $1.38 with the typical station in the $1.40s.

In north Georgia the price was also in the higher $1.30s.

The entire trip up Interstate 75 the prices were no higher than what it was in Peachtree City.

Just thought the residents should know.
