Martha Hayhurst, an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty, has been named Realtor of the Year by the Fayette County Board of Realtors.

Nominations for this award are taken from the general membership of the board and are voted on by the members who sit on the Awards Committee.

Hayhurst serves as president of the Fayette board and is also very involved at the state level with the Georgia Association of Realtors, sitting as a member of Legal Action, Convention, and Grievance committees.

On a local level, she is a member of Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and serves two committees, and she is also president-elect of the local chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors.

Hayhurst is the third member of Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty to both serve as president of the board and receive the Realtor of the Year award, following Jim Fulton and Miriam Fulton.
