Parks & Mottola campaign garners interest

“At first, people do a double-take,” laughs Jim Mottola, cofounder of Parks & Mottola Realtors in Newnan. “Once they realize that photos of homes make up the word `SOLD,' they understand the message.”

Referring to a billboard on US Hwy. 29, which showcases photographs of homes his company has sold over the past decade and a half, he goes on to explain that the new “SOLD” advertising campaign was created to celebrate its anniversary.

Founded in July of 1985 by Pick Parks and Mottola, the firm has grown from a staff of three to one of over 30 full and part-time professionals.

Creative and design work for the SOLD campaign was accomplished by Parks & Mottola's advertising agency, LCI Communications in Newnan. Art Director Cara Huber explains, “We wanted to get across the impact that the company has had on the area over the past 15 years; what they've done has really changed the landscape, and it involves thousands of satisfied customers.”

Although Parks & Mottola also represents commercial and industrial buyers and sellers, residential photographs were better suited to make up the letters of the word SOLD for the billboard and print advertising.

Scheduled to appear in various print publications this summer and designed to attract the attention of newcomers to the region, the SOLD campaign is getting a great deal of response.

“Newnan and Coweta County have grown so rapidly that we asked our agency to focus on name recognition for that market during this year,” explains Parks. “From the number of calls we're receiving, I'd say it's an effective campaign.”

Reminiscent of a photo gallery, the new image campaign notes that the company has been “making memories for 15 years,” and invites readers to allow Parks & Mottola to add their homes to the firm's “gallery of satisfied customers.”

Reaching over a million readers every month with residential, commercial and industrial listing advertisements, the company's reputation for selling homes quickly has grown on a continual basis.

“We're excited about this milestone and hope that the entire community will celebrate with us this month,” concluded Mottola. “And we certainly do look forward to working with the people of this area in making new memories with homes they buy and sell during this new century.”

Parks & Mottola is located in the historic Arnall-Mann home on Jefferson Street in Newnan. For more information, call 770.253.7005.
