AT&T's cable company held an open house in Peachtree City June 30 for its customers to announce the change of ownership from InterMedia Cable to AT&T.

Several hundred customers, city officials and guests attended, toured the updated facilities and enjoyed barbecue.

Representatives from the Peachtree City Police Department were on hand to fingerprint and photograph children as part of the nationwide child-find effort.

The 45-time champion racecar driver Donnie Smith made an appearance with his AT&T sponsored Oldsmobile. The open house was coordinated by the new general manager, Kenny Faust.
