The Atlanta Classics defeated the Jacksonville Jade 2-0 tonight at Dekalb Memorial Stadium in front of approximately 220 fans. Atlanta Classics' Julie Augustyniak, a former McIntosh player and Peachtree City resident, scored the first goal of the game in the 44th minute of the game off of a penalty kick. Following Augustyniak's goal was a goal by Katherine Horney who scored in the 65th minute of the match.

Atlanta Classics fans can come check out the Classics take on the Northern Virginia Majestics this Friday, July 7th at Dekalb Memorial Stadium at 5:30pm. The Atlanta Silverbacks will take on the Hampton Roads Mariners at 7:30pm this Friday, directly following the Classics match. Bring your family and friends out to Dekalb Memorial Stadium this Friday and take part in the Silverbacks and Classics doubleheader action.
