The second part of the Webb, Stuckey and Lindsey Summer Concert Series at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater is a Hall of Fame affair.

Two of the artists have been inducted in the Rock `n' Roll Hall of Fame, while two artists are bona fide mega stars of television and the stage. The last band is a pure rock band with a southern edge.

The concert series begins on July 21-22 with Dionne Warwick. Warwick, known recently for her involvement with the Psychic Friends Network, brings a solid resume of hits to Peachtree City. Songs like “That's What Friends Are For,” “I'll Never Love This Way Again,” “Walk On By,” and “Do You Know The Way To San Jose” are sure to be performed along with many other hits. Many of Warwick's memorable songs were composed by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and have become timeless classics that continue to spawn legions of new fans.

Warwick was a co-host on the television show “Solid Gold” in the 1980s.

The second show of the season will feature Tony Orlando Aug. 4 and 5. Orlando hosted his television show from 1974-76 with his backup singing group Dawn. His hits include “Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree,” “Knock Three Times,” and “He Don't Love You (Like I Love You).”

Dion will perform Aug. 25 and 26. He and the Belmonts were inducted into the Rock `n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. His hits include “Runaround Sue,” “The Wanderer,” “A Teenager in Love,” and “Ruby Baby.” He has many more classics that will be performed and tours constantly, maintaining his status as a rock `n' roll legend.

Art Garfunkel will perform Sept. 8 and 9. He and Paul Simon were inducted into the Rock `n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Their hits include “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “The Sounds of Silence,” “Homeward Bound,” “Mrs. Robinson” and many more. Garfunkel is sure to play many of these songs as well as material from his solo albums. One of his better known songs was “Bright Eyes” from the animated film “Watership Down.”

The final show of the season will feature the anthemic rock of .38 Special. This band from Jacksonville has recorded hits in more than three different decades including “Caught Up In You,” “Teacher, Teacher” (from the film “Teachers”), and “Second Chance.” The band formed in 1975 and has been a presence in the world of Southern rock ever since.

Series tickets went on sale yesterday. Reserved or lawn seating costs $90, while reserved seats in the gold circle (Friday night only) are $95. Picnic tables and gold tables are available on a limited basis. All tables seat six people. Call for availability.
