New
industrial office park set for Peachtree City Peachtree City will soon be home to the newest industrially zoned business park in Fayette County. Slated for completion by mid-autumn, the first phase of Crosstown 74 will include a 70,000 square-foot office/warehouse facility. The project, which is currently under construction, is located just a few hundred yards north of Crosstown Road and TDK Boulevard on South Highway 74. Crosstown 74 is the first development from Metro South Partners, LLC, which was formed by builders Bob Dixon, Woody Johnson and Bill Bonner. The facility will be marketed, leased and managed by Southeast Properties, which is based in Fayette County. The groundbreaking ceremony, which took place Thursday, June 22, was a time of celebration not only for Metro South Partners, but also for Campus Crusade for Christ's New Life Resources division. New Life Resources has already signed on to be the first tenant of Crosstown 74, taking up more than 20,000 of the available 70,000 square feet. "We're happy about moving forward with this project," said Woody Johnson. "We're also excited to have Campus Crusade for Christ and New Life Resources on board." To help celebrate, more than a dozen New Life Resources employees and directors attended the groundbreaking and toured the property. Johnson says he hopes to have the remaining 50,000 square feet of Crosstown 74 leased prior to the completion of the project.
