Peachtree National Bank expands into Fayetteville

There's going to be a new bank in Fayetteville.

That's the word from Peachtree National Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Wm. Ronald Duffey. He announced plans last week for a new 5,200 sq.ft. branch of Peachtree National Bank in Fayetteville.

The bank will be located in the Burch Office park at the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Burch Road.

“The city of Fayetteville is a key part of our history and an even bigger part of our future. We have operated a branch in the Banks Crossing Shopping Center Kroger store for 12 years. While the location has been successful for us and our customers have been loyal, we want to offer even more services to the citizens in the area,” Duffey said.

The new branch will be a full-service bank with a commercial loan center. Additionally, brokerage, trust, insurance and mortgage services will be offered. Three drive-ins and a drive-through ATM will offer customers additional services not presently offered at the Kroger branch.

“We hope to be in the new facility by the end of the year. Group VI Corp. will construct the building, designed by William Dougherty, a local architect,” Duffey added.

Teresa Martin, Senior Vice President-Human Resources will assume overall responsibility for its operation.
