Monarch Village
celebrates first home buyer Monarch
Village, the 440-acre master-planned community in
Stockbridge being developed by Pathway
Communities, is celebrating its first home buyer.
Margaret Mikels
recently purchased a home in Monarch's Fairfield
neighborhood, a turn-of-the-century neighborhood
built by McKenzie-Perry Homes, the 1999 Atlanta
Builder of the Year. Homes in Fairfield will be
in close proximity to Central Park, as well as
the proposed on-site elementary school.
Fairfield's
architecture reflects early 1900s cottage designs
which are complemented by rear garages and
alleys.
Ms. Mikels said the
community's nature paths, green space, lake, open
areas and technology advantage weighed heavily in
her decision to buy in Monarch Village.
With homes priced
from the $100,000s to more than $300,000, Monarch
Village will have more than 125 acres of green
space and natural areas, a 16-acre lake with
boating facilities, a community clubhouse,
competition-size swimming pool, eight lighted
tennis courts and a variety of community parks
and village gathering places.
The community will
have a commercial Village Square featuring a
variety of shops, offices and neighborhood
services. In addition, the community will offer a
unique technology program, including upgraded
wiring for every home, the potential for
ultra-fast Internet access and an interactive
community Intranet.
To visit Monarch
Village, take I-75 South to exit 75. Go right on
