Kosiba signs with Belmont

He has been the Class A state champion in the 3,200-meter run for the past two years and now Nathan Kosiba plans to attend Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.

Coweta-Fayette EMC is participant in charity race

The race, which raised more than $200,000 for the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, is sponsored by Touchstone and its 560 cooperatives, including the Coweta-Fayette EMC. The event “was a tremendous success this year,” said Michael Whiteside, president and CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC. “From the pre-race to the winner's circle, everything ran like a (pardon the pun) well-oiled machine,” he added.
