The Fayette County School of Performing Arts will present more than 150 students from their Fayetteville and Peachtree City schools in their annual “Standing Room Only” dance recital Sunday, June 11.

The performance will be at Sams Auditorium on the old Fayette County High School campus in Fayetteville. Curtain time is set for 3 p.m. and the performance is open to the public. There is a $5 donation at the door.

The two-hour performance, involving students age 3 to adult, will include a varied program of creative dance, classical ballet, tap, jazz and modern.

Kathleen Seeger, associate director for the School of Performing Arts and newly appointed artistic director of the Fayette Ballet, Inc., will present company and junior company members in excerpts from Chopin's Le Slyphides ballet.

Barbara Fortier, Russian ballet technique instructor with the Fayetteville school, will perform “The Dying Swan.”
