Nathan Rushin has been named a commercial lender at Peachtree National Bank..

“Nathan is one of those employees who does any job he is asked to do, and dose it well. It was this attitude earned him the title of Employee of the year in 1998 as voted by his fellow employees,” said Peachtree National president and CEO Ron Duffey.

Rushin was born in California and raised in Peachtree City. He graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in business administration in 1989 and joined the bank as a part-time teller.

He now serves as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer at the Willowbend location. Rushin is chairperson for the Fayette County March of Dimes and is an active Kiwanis Club member.

• A team of employees from NCR in Peachtree City was recently honored nationally.

The team was named finalists in the Rochester Institute of Technology and USA Today Quality Cup Competition.

The award recognizes significant contributions to the improvement of quality products and/or services in an organization by applying principles of quality management.
