Fayetteville First UMC's family picnic is June 4

Members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have their annual church-wide picnic on Sunday, June 4, from 4-7 p.m. at the J.W. Smith Recreation Area in south Fayette County. Those planning to attend are asked to bring blankets, chairs and a “pot luck” picnic dinner for sharing. The church will provide drinks, paper plates and plastic utensils. PTC UMC offers summer children's choir activity

A summer choir program at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church is available for children age 4 (by Sept. 1, 2000) through fifth grade beginning this evening, May 31. PTC UMM plan breakfast meeting June 3

United Methodist Men of Peachtree City United Methodist Church will have a breakfast meeting Saturday, June 3, at 8 a.m. in the Bryan Fellowship Hall at the church. Guest speaker will be Joel Nichols, Fayette County Area Director for the Young Life organization.

FFUMC will offer “Weigh Down” classes

Summer sessions of the “Weigh Down” Biblical weight control classes will begin Wednesday, June 7, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in room C270 at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Classes continue each Wednesday night through Aug. 30. For more information, call Kelly Flanagan at 770-631-8597.

“Contagious Christian” classes offered at PTC UMC

Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer a 10-week course entitled “Contagious Christians” beginning Monday, June 5 and continuing through Aug. 14. The course is designed to help everyday Christians effectively practice their faith. FFBC Children's Choirs to present musical

Children's Choir members at Fayetteville First Baptist Church will present a musical this Sunday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at the church.

National Heights to offer evening study classes

On Wednesday evenings beginning June 7, Margaret Clarke will offer a study on “That's What the Man Said—The Sayings of Jesus,” at National Heights Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Providence kids invited to see “Cinderella'

Providence United Methodist Church invites its children through fifth grade to enjoy a trip to the Center For Puppetry Arts to see “Cinderella” on Friday, June 16.
