The Gathering Grounds Coffeehouse is a new place in the area for young singles to hang out on a Friday night.

The coffeehouse, featuring live Christian entertainment, gourmet coffee and dessert, is located at Crossroads Church on Ga. Hwy. 154 in Newnan. The Gathering Grounds will be open on the first Friday night of every month from 8-11 p.m., beginning June 2.

On opening night, the band Waterproof Feat will be in concert. There is a $5 cover charge.
