Seven Boy Scouts representing four different troops recently received their God and Country Awards from Fr. Dan Brigham of St. Andrew's in-the-Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree City.

Receiving awards were Elliott Charobee, Troop 71; Cole Sproles, Troop 76; Matt Fraas, Troop 201; and Justin Cook, Sam Stachura, Mical Stankiewicz and Andrew Ward, all from troop 209, which is sponsored by St. Andrew's.

The God and Country Award is a religious award program that requires both Bible study and service projects.
