Nativity schedules adult education classes; prepares for dedication

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville is presently hosting an adult education series entitled “Exploring the Episcopal Church: A Journey for Newcomers and Veterans.” Classes take place each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Upcoming topics include: A Video on the National Church (May 28); The Catechism (June 4); and Holy Baptism: the Ministry of the Baptized (June 11).

A newcomers wine and cheese reception will take place on Sunday afternoon, June 4.

The Rt. Rev. Frank K. Allan, the Eighth Bishop of Atlanta, will preside at the dedication and consecration of Nativity's new church, on Saturday, June 17, at 4 p.m.

The Church of the Nativity is part of the 92 parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and a member of the world-wide Anglican Communion. The church is located at 130 Antioch Road. For more information, call the parish office at 770-460-6390.
