Calendar Registration for the 2000 season of the Peachtree City Packers Football and Cheerleading Association will be held on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Kedron Aquatic Center and Fieldhouse. The event will include a softball game between the Rising Starr and the Starr's Mill faculty at 4 p.m., a powder puff game between the junior and senior girls at 5:30 p.m. and the first inaugural Panther Spring Football game at 7: 30 p.m. The cost of the event is $5 and the public is welcome to attend. A $15 super ticket enters you in the contests for the door prizes. The Atlanta Gamecock Club will have their spring meeting on Monday, May 15 and head coach Lou Holtz will be the featured speaker. Union City Chrysler is sponsoring an afternoon of golf to benefit the Fayette County Humane Society on May 16 at Whitewater Country Club. Lunch and registration are at 12:30 p.m. followed by a 2 p.m. shotgun start. The format is a four person team, Ft. Laudedale tournament and will cost $200 per person or $750 per team.
