PTCUMC hosts handbell concert tonight

The community is invited to attend a “spring ring” handbell choir concert at 6:30 p.m. tonight, May 10, at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church, corner of Windgate Rd. and Peachtree Pkwy.

Braelinn Baptist schedules mother/daughter dinner

River's Edge ladies plan brunch

The ladies of River's Edge Community Church will have a brunch this Saturday, May 13 at 9 a.m. Those attending are asked to bring a breakfast item to share.

PTCUMC youth plan garage sale Saturday

The youth of Peachtree City United Methodist Church will have a garage sale this Saturday, May 13, from 8 a.m. until noon in the church parking lot. Due to lack of storage space, items being donated will not be accepted before Thursday or Friday, May 11 or 12. Children's clothing is welcome, but adult clothing will not be accepted. Fayetteville First Baptist sets blood drive

The Fayetteville First Baptist Church will sponsor a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, May 17 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the church on Stonewall Ave. near the Fayette County Courthouse.

Minister/comedian will speak at senior luncheon

Senior adults at McDonough Road Baptist Church are invited to bring a covered dish and enjoy the fellowship and entertainment at a Senior Adults Luncheon on Thursday, May 18. Special guest will be Roy Snider, a 91-year-old minister/comedian. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the program at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call the church at 770-460-5423.

“Weigh Down” classes start at PTCUMC May 24

Summer sessions of the “Weigh Down” Biblical weight control classes are set to begin Wednesday, May 24, at 9:30 a.m. at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church. The 12-week course starts with a free orientation class on either May 11 or May 18 at 10:45 a.m. Limited nursery is available.
