Madelyn Lee with ERA Preferred Realty has been awarded the Accredited Buyer Representation by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.

Lee joins more than 18,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the designation. The requirements include a two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

Re/Max Results in Peachtree City's Terri Hornfeck has been named a Re/Max Agent of the Year for 1999. The award goes to the associate who receives the highest total of commissions in one calendar year. She also was named Agent of the Year in 1997.

David Lolmaugh of Re/Max Around Atlanta recently completed the Seniors Real Estate Sales course.

The course is a masters level course and help makes Realtors more knowledgable regarding specific needs for seniors in today's market.

Kathy Murphy with Tri-City Realty successfully completed Certified International Property Specialist course Essentials of International Real Estate.

Topics of the course included international transactions, cultural and historical elements of the client's region and marketing properties and services.

• Unique Homes, the magazine of luxury real estate, announced that Norma Hill with Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty Previews division has been named a member of the magazine's Registry of Distinction.

This exclusive marketing program allows Hill to be in contact with more than 400 member brokers who market luxury real estate in The United States and abroad.

• John Scarbrough of Century 21 Scarbrough Properties in Tyrone has been awarded the President's Award from Century 21 for outstanding production achievement and quality service.

Karen Allen and Minka Fulton of Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty have earned membership into the company's International Sterling Society. The honor is bestowed upon the top 27 percent of the more than 70,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide.
