Thanks
from health department The month of April was indeed an eventful one for the Fayette County Health Department and its clients, thanks to the efforts of dedicated and talented staff members and the wonderful generosity of many of the businesses in our county. In honor of Public Health Week and Infant Immunization Week, many businesses donated merchandise, gift certificates, coupons for free services or merchandise which were given away in two separate drawings during the month. Many beautiful bunnies (of the stuffed variety) were sent on their way to new homes just in time for Easter. In addition, during the final week of our drawing we have been able to give away everything from sailing ship replicas and yo-yos to free hairdos, meals and even jewelry. It has been such a joy for us to be able to have these drawings for the past two years. However, they would not be possible without the generosity of these businesses that have shown true commitment to the community. We would like to thank them publicly for their community spirit and willingness to serve: Kroger Store 490, Great Clips, Styles by Valerie, Chick-Fil-A, Malones, City CafÈ, Hair Illusions, Sassy Rags, Home Depot and Wendy's.
