If something offends thee, just boycott and have it removed

The NAACP and other radical groups and individuals continue to use their alleged “offense” to the Confederate flag as a reason to fan the fires of racism.

If we're going to change flags, let's start with the Stars and Stripes, the colors which flew over the U.S. during the near annihilation of the American Indians; during the slavery period; and during the horrendous, so-called “Reconstruction” period in which Southern whites were stripped of much of their property and other assets, and their political power.

Further, let's haul down the Union Jack, which was, essentially, the same flag that flew over the Colonies. My forefathers were loaded like cattle and badly treated on the debtors' ships to the Colonies as England rid itself of the poor and those whose health did not allow them to do the work required by the land barons. By today's rules, I have a right to hold that against the British.

I object to the Cuban Province in Florida flaunting the Cuban flag — Cuba, a communist country from which they fled. Aren't they supposed to be Americans now? Send them and their flag back to from whence they came.

Let's vote on the flags of all the states in America. If American “ferriners” and radicals can change flags in Georgia and South Carolina, then I should have a say in what flags fly in other states, too.

Lastly, if it will solve the problem, take down all flags — everywhere.

The public outcry these days seems to be, “If something offends anyone, remove it.” Okay, let's play that game.

Bill and Hillary Clinton offend me; remove them. Al Gore offends me; Jesse Jackson offends me; Al Sharpton offends me; Teddy Kennedy offends me; Joe Lowery offends me; Mayor Bill Campbell and the Atlanta city government offend me; Ted Turner offends me; Lattrell Sprewell offends me; Jane Fonda offends me; Terrence Moore and Cynthia Tucker, both from the Affirmative Action School, offend me; likewise, Mark Bradley offends me; little Tommie Glavine offends me; Howard Stern offends me.

There are many more who offend me. In that case, then, they should all be removed, shouldn't they?

But since all of the above are sanctioned by the NAACP and other radicals, they'll stay in place and continue to disgust and offend me. The demand for a “level playing field” does not exist for conservative white Southerners — and never will.
