'Republicrats' seem bent on regulating everything Your editorial about being worried about those who cannot allow unregulated behavior was right on. The republocrats we have elected to office all hold the basic philosophy that they know what is best for us even when they don't have a clue what they are doing. In the book, Freedom in Chains, by James Brovard, he points out that government has adopted the philosophy that if the people are being abused, it is what they want; after all they elected this government. It is the goal of the republocrats to create as many regulations and laws as possible to ensure that every citizen at some time during the day has committed a criminal act. By creating criminals, the government can control us, steal money from us and guarantee that our rights are diminished or totally eliminated. In a recent trial of a former state senator, one of the offenses he was charged with was violation of the oath of office. Every one of our elected representatives is guilty of this offense. They have all voted for or actively supported legislation which violates our rights to ...Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Will they every be prosecuted for this? No! Lee Hunt
