Runners convention jogs into PTC next week

All the talk lately is about how much of a soccer area Fayette County is. That is certainly true, but we are also a running area too.

Notable

Cassie Shular, a student at Starr's Mill High School, signed with Mercer University and will run on their cross country team in the fall. The Peachtree City native was a standout performer on both her track and cross country teams. In fact, Shular's cross country squad captured a region championship this past season and a second place finish at the state meet.
