block party is Sat. in Peachtree City This Saturday promises to be a big day for families as Kids R Kids sponsors a community information day and block party in Peachtree City. The event runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 10 Lexington Pass and is filled with events and activities for the whole family. Representatives from the Peachtree City Police will be doing child car safety checks, while members of the Peachtree City Library will be sharing information about the summer reading program. The Fayette County Health Department will offer information on its immunization program and there will also be fire safety and nutrition information available. Tiny Tots Consignment, Discovery Toys and Peachtree Education Station will also have displays of their materials. For the children, face painting and the Kids R Kids Monster Bus are offered. Free drinks are provided by Kroger at Kedron and free ice cream is donated by Mayfield and Bruster's. Magic 96.7 is doing a remote broadcast from the site and kids R Kids is offering special rates for first time enrollments. |
