Southwest Christian Hospice will host its seventh annual Hustle for Hospice 5K run/walk with Captain Herb Emory of WSB radio/TV kicking off the activities.

There will be T-shirts and prizes for all participants and several drawings will be held throughout the day's events.

The race will begin near the hospice at Lester and Red Oak roads at 8:30 a.m. for runners and 8:35 a.m. for walkers. Registrants should plan to arrive early to pick up their packets before the race begins. Registration fee is $20. Proceeds from the race go directly toward patient care. All gifts to the hospice are tax-deductible.
