The United Methodist Men's Club of North Fayette United Methodist Church will have a church-wide yard sale and chicken barbecue Saturday, April 29, to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity and other church projects.

In June, four United Methodist Churches in Fayette County are joining together to build a Habitat home in a one week “building blitz.” All the materials, labor and money to build the home are donated by members of the church or from various fund-raisers.

The yard sale will be in the church gym from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The chicken barbecue dinners will be on sale from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Breakfast will be available in the morning.

The community is invited to attend and encouraged to donate items for the yard sale. Call the church at 770-461-2409 for more information about donating items or about the event in general.
