The children's choirs of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will present The Story-Tellin' Man, a musical by Ken Medema, on Sunday evening, April 30, at 6 p.m.

The musical retells four of Jesus' parables in music ranging in style from slow ballads to 1950s rock.

Shane Quamme is cast in the title role. The seventh grader has appeared in several local productions, including Huckleberry Finn.

More than 60 singers in Little Lambs and The Shepherd's Flock choirs, under the direction of the congregational choirmaster David Beecher, have been rehearsing The Story-Tellin' Man for weeks. The community is invited to the free program, Beecher said.
