Registration for the 2000 season of the Peachtree City Packers Football and Cheerleading Association will be held on Saturday, April 22, and 29 and Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Kedron Aquatic Center and Fieldhouse. The Georgia Chapter Certified Residential Specialists present the fourth annual Charity Golf Tournament May 3 at Lake Spivey Golf Club. This year's tournament will benefit People Making Progress, a non-profit agency dedicated to helping young adults with disabilities. Christian City will hold their annual Spring Golf Classic at Georgia National Golf Course in McDonough on Monday, May 8. The Ft. Lauderdale style tournament will cost $125. Call 770-703-2636 for more information.

Hoop-It-Up, a three-on-three basketball tournament open to players ages 8 and up, will be coming to Atlanta on May 13. Teams of four must sign up by May 3. Call (800) 680-PLAY or register on-line at www.hoopitup.com The entry fee is $102 per team, $140 for Top Gun division.

Starr's Mill will hold their first annual spring fling on Friday, May 12. The event will include a softball game between the Rising Starr and the Starr's Mill faculty at 4 p.m., a powder puff game between the junior and senior girls at 5:30 p.m. and the first inaugural Panther Spring Football game at 7: 30 p.m. The cost of the event is $5 and the public is welcome to attend. A $15 super ticket enters you in the contests for the door prizes.

The 9th annual Peachtree City Youth triathlon will be held on June 3. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. at Glenloch Recreation Area and is open to children ages 7-15. The cost of the race is 18 and the deadline for registration is May 23. There will be a swim qualifier on May 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the kedron pool. Call 770-785-2595 for more information.
