Keep Fayette Beautiful Inc. and the Fayette County commissioners have joined together to sponsor an Earth Day literary contest.

The contest is open to all students in Fayette County schools and students must write essays not longer than 500 words about the importance of recycling.

Entries should be submitted by April 28 to Keep Fayette Beautiful, P.O. Box 337, Brooks 30205.

Winners in each of three divisions will receive $50 savings bonds.
