The Optimist Club of Peachtree City will sponsor a junior golf clinic at the Wendell Coffee Golf Center in Tyrone.

The clinic, free to the first 100 people to preregister, will be Saturday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. by PGA professional Wendell Coffee and his staff. The junior golf clinic is open to Fayette golfers up to age 16.

An instructional clinic will be offered to two age groups, 10 and under and 11-16. Putting tournaments and chipping contests also will be open to the participants. In addition, the driving range will be open with unlimited free balls to hit.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the competitive events and a free lunch will be provided to all participants.
