announces eclectic April coffee house The next Stars on the Southern Crescent coffeehouse will be Saturday, April 29, at National Heights Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Featured performers include acoustic swing and blues writer/performer Ray Chesna, the Renaissance Festival folk group Stone Soup, and the 9 O'clock Brass with an array of tunes from jazz to Broadway to classical. Now in its seventh season, Stars on the Southern Crescent has become an institution on the south side of Atlanta. Many of the best musicians and storytellers in the metro-Atlanta area have appeared on the Stars stage. National Heights Baptist Church is at the intersection of Old Norton Road and Ga Highway 54. Doors open at 7:45 p.m., and the show begins at 8:15. Admission is $6 for the general public and $4 for seniors and children under 12. Home-baked desserts and hot and cold drinks will be available.
