The first Peachtree Eagle Classic golf tournament, sponsored by St. Paul Lutheran School, will be Thursday, April 13 at Orchard Hills Golf Club in Newnan. Lunch and registration will begin at 11 a.m and tee time will be noon. The format will be Ft. Lauderdale with four-person teams. Entry fee is $95 per player. Call Tony Yeatman at 770-631-4714.

The Peachtree City Jayhawks basketball team will hold a reverse raffle April 14. The team is raising money for players to have a chance to compete in the national finals this July in Orlando. Only 400 tickets are available at $50 a piece. Prizes range from $4,000 to $100. You must be 21 or older to participate. For ticket info call 770-631-4826.

The Peachtree City Running Club will have its annual Kid's Fun Run Saturday, April 15. Children 5-12 will run a one-mile course in the parking lt area of the Frederick Brown Amphitheater. The Peachtree City Kiwanis Club will host its annual Spring Golf Tournament on Wednesday, April 19 at the Flat Creek Golf Club. The entrance fee is $70 per person for a four-person Ft. lauderdale format. The entrance fee includes greens fee, range balls, buffet lunch and golf cart fee. Registration for the 2000 season of the Peachtree City Packers Football and Cheerleading Association will be held on Saturday, April 22, and 29 and Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Kedron Aquatic Center and Fieldhouse. The Georgia Chapter Certified Residential Specialists present the fourth annual Charity Golf Tournament May 3 at Lake Spivey Golf Club. This year's tournament will benefit People Making Progress, a non-profit agency dedicated to helping young adults with disabilities. Christian City will hold their annual Spring Golf Classic at Georgia National Golf Course in McDonough on Monday, May 8. The Ft. Lauderdale style tournament will cost $125. Call 770-703-2636 for more information.
