Why is there no recall talk here in PTC, where its's needed?

When we relocated here from Ridgewood, N.J., almost six years ago, Peachtree City had been portrayed as the ideal spot in which to plan a retirement. Well, as Bobbie Burns said: “The best-laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley.” And if the Mayor questions the spelling, tell him to look it up; and while he's at it tell him the preposition “from” goes with “than.”

Fayetteville often threatens recall; why do we never hear it here in Peachtree City? Things are pretty much a mess now and are bound to get worse. Wouldn't it have been ideal had we had the opportunity to elect all four new candidates last November and perhaps written Steve Brown in to fill the vacancy, which was all to be desired?

Dan Tennant would have made a great mayor. He knows why he was elected and he'd be assured of a 4-to-1 vote on every issue and not just those favorable to the developers.
